Sermon 02/16/2025

In our nature, we aim to please.  We are people-pleasers.  Husbands try to please their wives, and wives try to please their husbands.  Many live to please to themselves.  In the letter to the Philippian church, Paul wrote in Philippians 2:21, "For they all seek after their own interests, not those of Christ Jesus." The Bible teaches plainly that it is a privilege not a burden to live to please God.  Two heroes of the faith are examined:

• Close fellowship with God - Enoch
• Obedience - Abraham
